Loved the room size and the breakfast was great too.

There was a school event hosting teenagers and they all came down to breakfast at the same time and clogged up the breakfast area. They should have their own place to get food, not with the rest of the guests...its to chaotic.

"Nice, centrally located hotel with very friendly staff!"

I had a really nice time at the Hyatt House Tampa Downtown. Most notable was the warm, friendly, and helpful staff at both the front desk and the bar. The room was large, clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Everything seemed pretty new and well-kept. I visited the bar, which is also the restaurant, quite a few times because the food was great and I loved the bartenders! The location was great, with lots of good restaurants and bars within walking distance. And a 45-minute Uber to Clearwater Beach. The only things that disappointed me were the pool and the WiFi. I had been looking forward to getting some time in the sun by the pool, but unfortunately, the pool was in the shade almost the entire day, with a portion getting sunlight late afternoon for about an hour. The pool was also very cold. The WiFi was functional, but very slow (less than 5mbps), making it impossible to use for video calls when I had work to do. Overall, I'd definitely still recommend this hotel to most people who want to explore downtown Tampa or use it as a jumping point to nearby places!

"Very comfortable stay in the heart of downtown Tampa."

It was very clean and the facilities were very nice. The king bed was super comfortable but the sofa bed, not so much. The room we stayed in was huge and we loved having the kitchen space. Breakfast was included and it was very good. Also, very conveniently located in the center of Tampa. There was a Starbucks on the ground floor.

We were there for a convention and the cost was quite high.
