The Hotel Texan

I loved the historical sense that you get from walking in. The people are friendly, and the rooms are comfortable while maintaining that historic feeling. We loved the cats that all welcomed us as well!! Really great experience!!!

The Hotel Texan was a wonderful place to stay! The owner was amazingly helpful, and it was a very cool building and "feel." I was there for the eclipse, and they actually had viewing glasses for their guests. The breakfast was wonderful (breakfast burritos). I really enjoyed my time there, and would recommend it heartily! I truly loved the antiquated vibe of the hotel, this one is fantastic!

The Hotel Texan is a restored historic motel, obviously an old building, creaky wood floors with period furniture. And that is its charm!! Bathroom is modern, no walk to the outhouse of course!! The town of Seagraves is very small.

This is a hotel built in 1917. The rooms are cute. I was told it used to have 20 rooms with one bathroom but now it has 7 rooms each with it's own. The owner is really nice and very informative. Somethings that may be a turn off for some people is the lack of an alarm clock, outlets, in room coffee pot, microwave, and mini fridge but these things were not a burdan for me. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

The owner was on hand for any questions, and was enjoyable to chatbwith. The property is an 100 year old hotel and absolutely beautiful.

Very relaxing atmosphere and great service. Shannondoa and Roy (AKA Grandpa) made us feel right at home. Had an excellent pizza and some of the best ice cream we’ve ever had right next door. Also, had a great visit with Roy, one of the most interesting people I’ve ever met.
