Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh

The Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh is a beautiful property in the heart of Phnom Penh. It is close to the Royal Palace as well as the national museum, and the river walking street. The hotel is relatively new, built about 6 years ago. The lobby is an old royal villa that has been immaculately preserved and connects to a new modern midrise that houses the rest of the hotel. I was upgraded to a pool view room, which had good views of of course the pool and the city. On the 14th floor there is a skybar and restaurant with decent food, and may I say that by Western standards prices are quite reasonable. There is also a “speakeasy” (sort of) bar named “Metropole” in the parking garage that has live music. Upon check-in, you get a coupon for a free beer or house wine, so I went with some local friends. There weren’t many people in there (maybe because it was a Sunday night, but either way I preferred the skybar. Service was very good and for the most part pretty prompt, except for once when I had to call 3x to have them come pick up my laundry. Overall though, it is a great hotel in a good location and I highly recommend staying here if you’re in Phnom Penh for business or pleasure.

Had sn extended 8 day stay due to the isdues in the Middle East. Stayed in Executive Level room with great views of the city. Plenty of local convenience stores and cafes nearby. Snacks provided in the Attic during the afternoon but very limited. Evening canapes and drinks served there too, much better choice. No free laundry service unlike a lot of other similar class hotels. Gym, pool and Spa all used and with no complaints. Would recommend. Grab app a great way to book transpirt around the city.

Centrally located,beautiful space! The old facade is retained and is the reception! Big rooms with space for wardrobe and spacious toilets…they welcomed us with a cake and macarons as it was our anniversary eve! We had dinner the next day and the restaurant again celebrated with another cake! Friendly and helpful staff! Will definitely visit again

Hotel is centrally located, modern and well-kept. Grand ceiling and every corner luxuriously decorated. The reception staff friendly and warm. Amazing selection for breakfast. Staff work very hard and all so kind. The access to the lounge was appreciated for snacks and drinks, The gym was well equipped for a hotel. Assuming because there are also ‘residents’ on upper floor(s). Enjoyed the peaceful outdoor swimming pool and separate changing room facilities (a steam room and jacuzzi w/air bed). Many room options to suit your budget eg with Palace View / twin / lounge access Made the best of an unplanned spontaneous couple of nights break here before continuing our guided travels with our group. Checked-out quite relaxed.

Beautiful property. Love the colonial design and vibe. Wish we had more time to experience it only stayed for a night, literally just 9 hours. Loved the pool , we had it to ourselves in the morning, love the breakfast, they were very nice to allow us to pack some takeways for our trip towards Koh Rong Island.
