This is the best resort in El Nido. The staff was amazing. The food was good. The restaurant has the best view possible. And we have access to a private beach and private lagoon.

The smell around the swimming pool and pool restaurant is horrible. They filter their own water which make the water safe for ice cubes for example but the treatment facility is near the pool and gives a horrible smell.

The staff are really nice. Food in the pool restaurant is also very good. Breakfast is nice although very limited options, but what they have, it tastes good. The view from the villa in the mountain was amazing, also it is very pretty from the pool area. The hotel and the rooms decorations are very beautiful. Our butlers did their best to make us feels confortable during our stay and they are incredibly nice and kind, although you can feel the situation sometimes is not easy for them when they can’t provide quick access to your room or things break.

The hotel is behind a mountain, which means the only way in and out is with their transfers in 4x4, that are absurdly expensive. There is a 3 min path through the forest to a point where a tricycle can pick you up, but you need to call them ahead. The description in booking is not accurate, there is no 6 min walking to el nido, it is more 15 min tricycle + 3 min walking. I would have loved to know this in advance, we travel with kids and would have chosen an easier option. The premium villas are up the mountain, you need to go by funicular, which sometimes is not working due to maintenance issues, if not working, you have to get a car up to your villa, both things you should plan ahead, the funicular operator is not always there, neither the cars. Also the funicular is not working early in the morning. The breakfast is supposed to start at 6 am, which is a reasonable hour if you are planning to go to a tour, but the 3 days that we went at that time, not everything was ready. They picked us up from the airport with a pick up, the luggage was behind in the open and arrived completely covered in dust, the butler tried to clean it but it wasn’t easy. There are several things in the villa that weren’t working properly, like hair dryer, really bad smell in the toilet, dirt in the curtains… but those were small issues, the main issue we had is that in our last night our rooms were full of bugs, they were everywhere and it was impossible to sleep like that with bugs crawling over us, so we moved to a much smaller villa down the mountain and they gave us a discount due to the downgrade. The discount was nice and the staff did their best with the situation, but we lost more than 1 hour trying to kill the bugs to sleep there and also in the morning we had to review all the clothes in the luggage and remove the dead bugs after the fumigation. The pool toilets are out of order and you need to go to a first floor.

Staff were extremely friendly, the resort offers a relaxing environment, Henri’s has the most amazing view and food was exceptional. Luxury at its best!

Very good breakfast

Lift to the room broke, 5 stories up the mountain. Not ideal with young kids. If you were elderly, you would be in trouble.

Location is to far from the city center. Very low water pressure in the shower

Luxury services. The private place they have for lunch at Cadlao Lake is the most beautiful thing we saw in El Nido. And maybe the world.

Everything is ultra expensive and they charge for things that could be included in an already high daily rate

The room is spacious and beautifully decorated, as was the bathroom. Nice seating area and a large-screen TV in the bedroom. Staff was absolutely wonderful. Quiet area, away from the hustle bustle of El Nido town proper. Nespresso machine in the room. My butler Ching was really thoughtful and brought me a few little sweet treats from the kitchen a couple of times, and they were delicious! Someone mentioned the pool was small, but the truth is that I never saw anyone using it or the lounge chairs, so I'd say it's probably enough.

The only thing included is a breakfast of a 3-star utilitarian hotel. The breakfast options are extremely limited and what I see roadside hotels like Wyndham serve. Of course at Wyndham that's a good breakfast for $150/night. At $650/night in SE Asia, the breakfast Lihim serves is a sad joke. The huge tub which was one of the selling points for me was unusable; it was grimy when I arrived, and after they cleaned it I still couldn't use it because it was leaking and impossible to fill up (also, the shower hose was broken). Their private island is accessible only by boat, for which they charge $110. One of the night my room stank of sewage. There are no stairs to climb out of the water onto the floating pier, so if you have mobility issues or lack the arm strength to pull yourself out, this may be an issue.

The staff provided exceptional customer service & went above & beyond to ensure we had an amazing vacation. The location was beautiful, food was great & wonderful excursions. My husband & I renewed our vows & surprised our family. It was on the rooftop of Henri’s at sunset followed by dinner. The staff worked with me every step of the way & provided support & suggestions to make our special event perfect!

There are sensational views from the hotel. Gym spa tennis all excellent and staff were fantastic. Speed boat into town great and so was the day trip (but you pay top dollar!) Henris is spectacular at sunset.

The problem is when you charge £650 a night every thing has to be spot on, and it isn’t. At £300 it would be 10/10. Needs some money spent on it to bring it up to 5*+ that price suggests Issue with location too , as you have to have a boat or 4x4 to go anywhere unless you walk along beach , which you can do when tide is out ( but you really wouldn’t want to at night)

The staff were amazing, very eager to help and do everything they could to make your stay memorable. Hanah, our butler, was very attentive and made the stay extra special. The best part about the resort was Henri’s, at the very top of the hill. They should emphasize that you should go up to the sun deck bar for the sunset view, and also that there is a pool guests can use. We only wish we had known about Henri’s earlier. The restaurant itself was also very high quality and reasonably priced for the level of service, view, and food quality.

The stay was great, but if I have to pick a few things that were not perfect I would say, 1. The villa’s infinity pool was full of leaves and bugs, and never cleaned throughout the stay. 2. Maybe a few options to customize the breakfast, although many of the items were very good. 3. It would be nice if the funicular was working. It was 13 flights of stairs (130ft) from the base to our villa, but luckily they provided a car that would take us up. However, it was a hassle to keep asking the butler for a ride.
