This. Was one of the worst travel experiences i have ever had. Upon arrival, we were unable to check in because nobody was available and the self check in machine didn’t find my reservation. We called the hotel more often but our calls went unanswered and the telephone numbers were not available. After that, we contacted Booking.com customer support and were assured that an alternative accommodation would be arranged for us. Unfortunately this never happened. After a long exhausting trip, we were left stranded with nowhere to stay and were forced to spend the night sleeping in our car. This situation was completely unacceptable and caused us significant stress, discomfort, pain and frustration. I’m extremely disappointed by the lack of support, communication, accountability from both the hotel and the assistance provided through Booking.com. A confirmed reservation should never result in guests being left without accommodation in the middle of the night. I strongly urge Booking.com to investigate this incident and take appropriate action to ensure that no other travelers have to endure such unacceptable experience.
