The setting was fabulous and central for getting around to various attractions. The house was very clean and beds so comfortable

A very comfortable little lodge for family holidays which embeds the family into a little taste of country life. It is so very interesting and absolutely beautiful and wonderful, filled with, if you are lucky enough, kangaroos and life. The staff was amazing and super nice.

The tennis court could use a little bit of renovation.

The whole site is wondeful . The owners are just fantastics and gave so many good recommandation about visit and dining. The fireplace made our time there memorable. The visit at McCaffrey's Estate was a great advice.

The place was immaculate, clean tidy cosy and all the amenities that made it feel like a home away from home. The cheese board was fantastic! Lit the fire and chilled with a local wine with cheese and crackers. Sat outside while cooking on the barbie and just listening to the wind in the trees , didn’t want to leave.

Really it was only the odd car driving down the road but that wasn’t anything to do with the hosts , there wasn’t that many and 90% of the time it was pure solitude.

Our night sleeps in one of the bedrooms were troubled by mosquitos from the first night, and did not get much better after applying the insect killer/protect spray provided in the lodge for the following two nights. We were waken up multiple times by itchiness and mosquito buzzing noise, each had 15+ itchy red bumps at the end of our stay. It's surprising so many mosquitos in only one of the bedrooms with closed window and doors in the winter season. Those pesky insects can ruthlessly ruin an otherwise pleasant winter getaway.

Loved the grounds on this property, you feel so secluded even though you're close to everything in town. And the wood cabins are so cosy, especially the fireplace!
