We celebrated my daughters 16Th birthday in Maryland and had the pleasure staying here. They decorated the room with balloons and a card which was so amazing. The rooms are very clean, decorated lovely and the property is beautiful. They though of every detail right down to cold water at the pool and sunscreen if you needed some! I cant wait to go back and see the beautiful fall colors and stay at the inn again:)

USThere was a self-serve to-go breakfast out each morning at 8 am which was fairly minimal but nice to have. It had a hard boiled egg, cheese, bread, some granola, fish spread and a few other small items. There was fresh coffee and coffee to make yourself available at all times.
It is high season but it seemed a bit expensive given that there's really not much to do on Tilghman Island. The restaurant had great food and drinks but it was fairly pricey, but it's also one of the few places in town so that makes sense. It was convenient being right on the property.

Inn was empty when we arrived. There was no way to a glass of wine or food. Room is clean but it has a loud minisplit and a dehumidifier that cycles in the bathroom. The most annoying thing was a transparent glass door between the bathroom and bedroom making privacy impossible for a family traveling together. We used a towel to block the door partially. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was awful. I regret that we paid twice the cost of a chain hotel.
We had an amazing and relaxing weekend, it was just what we were looking for! Everyone was so wonderful and the food at the restaurant was delicious!

My husband and I came to stay here for a night for a brief honeymoon/getaway. Hotel was impressively clean and bed quite comfortable. Jet tub was awesome, water views were great, upstairs patio lovely and well worth it. We had a great time. That being said - we were disappointed that the pool was closed :( This was one of the main things we were looking forward to and we were sad to see that it was drained. Didn’t find this information on the website and wish we had known or called ahead. Restaurant was ALSO closed on Thursday nights, and the box breakfast was … lacking? Make sure you also call ahead to other nearby areas if you want to do water sports - I guess this time of year very little is open or available. Learned that the hard way. Even so, we had a lovely time - Sherry up front (and my mom) surprised us with some champagne, chocolates, and fruit. Delicious!!
