Majestic View Home

The views are outstanding, it is really interesting to watch the lake activity and comings and goings from the airport. Loved sitting with a Coffee or a Wine and watching outside. The house is conveniently on one level (no stairs), and the rooms are all spacious and each has a personal ensuite. Garage is also spacious - we only had 1 car, but you would comfortably fit 2 large vehicles. Location is excellent (assuming you have a vehicle) - from high on the Queenstown hill you easily drop into town if you head in one direction, and you are well on the way to Frankton if you drop down in the other direction. This works really well.

Sadly, the house is looking unloved inside - and is in need of some overdue maintenance. Ceiling damage has been poorly patched; there are many stains on the very worn carpet; a leaky shower has been left to cause timber rot. Even lightbulbs - approx. 20 blown bulbs through the house have not been replaced leaving rooms dark (esp Kitchen). I notice in the feedback that the fireplace has been out of action for a long time, and still is. Whilst the fridge has been replaced, only a small 3/4 unit has been installed and has left ugly unpainted wall visible around the edges. With a refresh/refurb, this could easily be a premium property - but the current condition let's it down.

What a spectacular view!!! It never disappointed every time I looked out that window! It was great having access to a garage for our car as there is no street parking. Plenty of space in all the bedrooms and living areas. Loved the heated floor in the bathrooms too. A short drive away from the main town centre.

Lovely home to stay in.

Needed a few kitchen items. One tea towel isn't enough, oven mits, more than one tong.

The best views on top of the hill so amazing, easy to get to places, spacious home and loved ensuites for every room. Kitchen was a good size and well equipped with utensils and dish soap, heated flooring and towel racks were a bonus,

Nothing I didn’t like

The house is large and very comfortable with multiple bedrooms. The view from the living room and one of the bedrooms is fantastic. You overlook Queenstown and the lake - We sat staring at the view for hours.

Some of the towels had stains on them and the property manager took awhile to respond to our queries. Some of the heaters did not work.

Absolutely awesome view to enjoy with family, highly recommend. 10min drive to central, convenience.

Cant access to the balcony due to maintance, which is a bit sad
