The room design is very inconvenient—the entrance door is extremely low and requires bending every time, which is uncomfortable and unsafe. The bed and pillows were of poor quality and did not provide proper rest. Even poorest people must be using better bed & pillows. The host’s behavior on arrival felt unwelcoming. The property is also quite far from the station (around 3.5 km), and transportation options are limited. No Uber guy will accept to come here. Basic amenities were lacking, such as thin plastic cups for hot beverages, and the breakfast was below expectations. Overall, the property is significantly overpriced for what it offers.

Wir waren für zwei Tage dort und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es war alles da was man gebraucht hat, es war sauber, Snacks, Frühstück und Joghurt waren umsonst. Ein wunderschöner und gemütlicher Garten. Wir wünschten, wir wären länger geblieben.

It was one of the cheaper places to stay. It was nice to be able to see Mt.Fuji from the same street. Free shuttle for check-in and check-out to the Kawaguchiko bus/train station. The guy who cleans, runs errands and does everything was veeery nice. Supermarket, ATM and some food options within 15min walking distance. Can do laundry, snacks/coffee/water available 24/7

You get what you paid for, the vibe is shady. He went through every single page of our passports before introducing himself. The room, the bed was not comfortable, the ceiling is very low, the shower doors did not close entirely. The common/breakfast/garden area is an open space, it’s cold all the time. Would not recommend for families with children, anyone taller than 160cm, anyone who values comfort and smooth logistics. The location is very far from the major sites, we ended up getting an uber to get around. Limited and average coffee/restaurant options nearby. There is an option to rent bikes, which seems great for the first hour, but both bikes we got were faulty- one’s breaks were barely working, the other’s seat kept moving up, it was impossible to sit on it, we ended up walking back with bikes. When we told about the bikes, turns out he knew it already… Would not stay here again

Das private Onsen, der Abhol- und Bringservice zur Kawaguchiko-Station und die Umsorgung durch den Gastgeber mit Snacks und Getränken war einfach grandios. Wir waren sehr beeindruckt von allem.
