Beautiful, charming home and location

Torno is a very nice little village, but not a car friendly place at all. Also the apartment is not easy to find, as in a lot of streets and alleys there is no street names. Google doesn’t help much either. But what really upset me was that nobody picked up the phone first 1h before arriving (as we agreed just a couple of hours earlier on the phone) and then, most annoying, when I arrived to tell me where to go with the car and where the apartment was. I lost 40 mins walking in the village (it’s mostly steps, no roads), trying to fins the apartment; also some of the locals I found could not help me. I had to leave all the time my wife and my small daughter in a wrongly parked car next to the main road… Needless to say how angry I was then Luckily, and by coincidence, I found Luca, the person sent by the agency who was supposed to check us in, who was also looking for me (he was not the person who was supposed to pick up the phone) who kindly explained all he had to. The apartment it’s nice but cold; typical of an old house, probably more enjoyable during the hot summer months. IF (IF) you find a parking spot it would be somewhere up where the main road is, and you’ll have to walk up and down the stairs to the little harbour nearby. Keep this in mind when thinking of bringing big suitcases with you

Beautiful quiet town in Como area where hustle and bustle are prominent. Luca is a great host offering a full introduction to the property and surrounding area. If looking for quiet evenings on Lake Como this is the place.

One of the best places that I’ve ever been, everything was amazing, the apartment, the service, the stuff, even the location is perfect, I have been there two times, i love this place because the atmosphere is perfect, the view is amazing, thank you all ! Also thank you lucca !

Yes parking is difficult but once you are parked you don't ever need to move your car as you have direct access to a ferry port and can travel to virtually any town that borders como di lago. Absolutely incredible experience seeing this beautiful and quaint corner of the world I highly recommend this stay for anyone who wants to have an authentic Italian experience

The location was excellent. Just next to ferry point and 4 nins from the bus station. The location was in COMO REGION YET away from regular touriste crowd. And the restaurant next to it was fabulous...AMAZING pies 🥧 and croissants

The place lacked adequate lighting. It was quite datk inside, though they had bulbs but i think we need few more. The kitchen could have had salt, sugar, coffeemaker, oil stocked along with the property.. .MOST OF SUCH APARTMENTS do stock these as part of the APARTMENT.

Wonderful hosts - Luca was generous with his time and helpful suggestions. As with any Italian adventure, we had a short power outage but it didn’t dampen the spirit of our 2 weeks in Torno and the surrounding area.
