Aloft by Marriott Lubbock

First time staying in an Aloft. No pet fee! Big advantage. A minimalist design. Everything thought of. Everything works. We'll stay again.

The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. Very nice and made our stay amazing. His staff was on point as well

Booked a handicap accessible room. Online, it did not say pets allowed in that type of room. When we arrived, we were switched to a nonhandicap room. Pet hair was on the carpet by the bed, and my daughter and I woke up with an allergic reaction. Told the manager in the morning; she was very unphased by it. She said pets are allowed in all the rooms so it should have said that on the handicap accessible rooms as well. Also not a good place to stay for any privacy within the room. We have older kids, and there are large gaps in the wall that joins the bathroom to the bedroom, so you cam actually see in where the shower area is. Anything happening in the bathroom carries into the bedroom, i.e. lights, sounds, smells, steam, etc. Manager said this is their "loft concept". Lastly, they didn't give us a towel for each person in our family, and the shower door did not stay shut, leaking water out on the floor.

Rooms were nice but the hallways need new carpet or at best cleaned really good

Fantastic place to stay in Lubbock. Walking distance to shopping area with many dining options. Would definitely stay here again. West-facing rooms give a fabulous view of the unforgettable west Texas sunsets.

New nice hotel - did a staycation with the grandkids so they could swim - pool is small but perfect for them - room was clean and cool for the evening - it was a great stay

Didn’t have breakfast. The room was clean and the location was perfect, close to restaurants and shopping.

I had two complaints. The first would be when three people are staying in the room it’s expected to the three sets of towels and three coffee cups. I called down to the front deck to get more towels and coffee cups but no one answered, so I went down and couldn’t find anyone to ask for help in getting them. Even when we were checking out no one was there to check out with. I ended up leaving my key cards on the reception desk.
