ibis Timisoara City Center

We didn't book this hotel. We happened to stay there because of a bomb threat during our flight to Egypt and an emergency landing in Timisoara. The FlyEgypt airline organized this accommodation for us. We got there at 4 in the morning, slept until 7 in the morning, had a quick breakfast and went sightseeing (the hotel is very close to the Old Town). Speaking generally, it was an OK stay. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean. The breakfast, although nothing special, was sufficient. The receptionists were very helpful. Thank you for having us on such short notice!

Comme toujours super hôtel sur Timisoara, personnel sympathique !! peut être pas un grand nom mais je préfère celui ci à beaucoup d'autre dans cette ville. un grand merci à la réceptionniste qui à prix en compte ma demande pour un départ à 16h pour un petit supplément de 20€

The hotel is in a good location, near the center of Timisoara, where you can easily walk. The hotel staff was very kind and the breakfast was satisfactory. The fact that parking has to be paid extra is annoying, it should be included in the room price. In the first room we stayed in (room 120) the window did not close, which is why it was cold and noisy. At our request, we were moved to another room (room 104), where the bed mattress was very hard, even if it had a topper. We had to take the topper from room 120 to be able to sleep on the bed. During the night of October 6-7, some hotel guests stayed all night (until 5 in the morning) in the hotel lobby, playing the guitar and making a lot of noise, which is why I couldn't sleep until morning. The quality-price ratio was fair and, if it hadn't been for that party, the impression of the hotel would have been much more positive.

Had a laptop holder disappear from my room. Air con didn't work and train outside my room occasionally keeping me awake

This hotel is in a great location, close to restaurants, supermarkets, local farmers and and city center. The room is nice and clean. Bathroom has all toiletries and the shower is excellent. The staff is helpful and spoke English very well. They also have a restaurant at this property, with great coffee with reasonable price. I would recommend this hotel.

Great location walking distance from the city center. You also have a farmers market and a large supermarket around the hotel. The staff was professional. The only downside was breakfast, not too many options and not too tasty, but for a short stay it would be fine.

Very nice and friendly staff. The location it's in walkable distance from the city centre, i will say 10 minutes . The restaurant it's good and the prices affordable. The room was clean and the furniture looked pretty new.

We stayed at this hotel with a tour group and it was generally, quite satisfactory. It was situated about 1 km from the centre of the city and away from the crowds and thus, was conveniently located. The walk to the city centre was an easy and flat one. While the hotel did back onto a railway line and our room faced that direction, our sleep wasn't disturbed. Rooms were comfortable but not huge. The one glaring drawback was that the breakfast area really wasn't big enough to cope with the number of guests, with queues forming for everything. In fact, the area was like a pop up breakfast room, with things stored in cupboards around the room. Breakfast itself was average. There is plenty of parking for guests.
