Askara Villa Uluwatu

The villa is big, with a very nice size pool. The only thing the staff helped was to take an animal out of the bathroom.

The villa is hard to find and the road to access the property is not in good condition. The staff was not very helpful, the village was NOT 100% clean, and the reference pictures are not recent, the villa has not been taken care in a long time, humidity issues all around the property, kitchen walls were disgusting, no staff came to clean and make the beds the next morning, and they didn’t even include coffee in the kitchen. Bathrooms dirty, shower was flooding and glass doors were completely disgusting

Location down a dodgy dirt road. Cabs and grab workers couldn’t find. Staff slow to respond and help she problems arose and there were problems

no signage to know you’re at the right location, nothing is within walking distance, gojek or scooter a must.

The pool was great, beds comfortable. The road access and surroundings are quite rough and unclean but the property is very clean.

The windows rattle with the traffic and we had to ask for hangers and cutlery but the staff was very helpful

Spacious villa. Good hot water supply. Regular cleaning. They helped sort out the wifi to get the TV working.

Property is due some maintenance. Walls need a clean. There was a smell in one bathroom most of our stay. The garden was tidy, but the bamboo needs pruning and the sun umbrella was very mouldy. Kitchen had no plug for dishes. Could do with better pots and pans for cooking. Difficult to communicate with housekeeping due to language differences. We broke 2 glasses during our 12 day stay and they chased us to pay for them, even coming to our next place in Ubud. As a family, I think the odd breakage is to be expected.

We like how spacious the property was

The property is self was quite hard to find initially. Upstairs both bathrooms had a really bad smell that seeped into both bedrooms. The sheets on the beds had stain on them even tho that had been washed. The staff were not very helpful when it came to the safe we weren’t able to use any of them. There was mould in the bathroom and the hot water didn’t not last very long.
