Bayscape Studio Glenelg

Great storage areas, well thought out! Had extra towels/bedding etc. lovely gift box upon arrival. Only a block away from the beach and Glenelg centre

Upstairs with luggage but that’s okay!

The location itself was immaculate! Only five minutes to walk down to Jetty Road with beautiful cafes along the way. The bed was extremely comfortable and so was the couch! The shower was better water pressure than in my own house, absolutely amazing. Large bathroom bench to put all your stuff. Cute little fridge with more than enough space. Cooking appliances were available and stowed in the cabinets which was lovely. Also, they had the cutest kettle and toaster? The studio is in a mini hotel ish complex, which made me assume it’d be noisy and busy. However while in my room i didn’t hear any other guests throughout my entire stay which was amazing. The carpark available was directly below my door (as the room is on the second floor of the complex) which eased any worries about my car as i could see it from my window.

Nothing! Highly enjoyed my stay :)

The outside noise. The windows need work on to block the ongoing outside noise in the age care facility and parking lot area

Location was great, convenient and easy to find. Enough items in the kitchenette to prepare easy meals.

The location was perfect. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The accommodation had everything I needed.

It was a little noisy at odd times

What breakfast? Central location. Close to public transport. Great shower pressure.

No screen door. Room stuffy without using air-conditioning. Very little 'flow through ventilation'. Both Shower taps should be installed 'Left rotation to turn ON shower. Right rotation to turn OFF shower. The cold tap installed opposite. Potentially dangerous.

The welcome pack was a lovely touch, especially the coffee pods and 1L of milk (very thoughtful). The apartment was beautifully furnished / decorated .... very refreshing. Quiet location too.

Thinking that the security code may not change from guest to guest, I was a little concerned that there was not a security chain (or equivalent) on the inside of the door (it looked like there may have been one in the past). As an older woman travelling alone, I felt a bit vulnerable and, however silly, did sleep with a chair pushed against the door.
