Villa Majkovica - 4 Bedroom Villa with Private Pool & En-Suite Bathrooms & Parking

We had a wonderful stay with Ivana and Miro. They are very welcoming and discreet. Lots of good advice and an excellent meal with them. I highly recommend it.

Great view, very spacious and clean property, super helpful guests - they cooked a traditional meal for us without us asking and it was wonderful - with cherries from their garden, potatoes from their field and traditional sauces that they make. We could charge our electric vehicle, we asked for a second key and this was provided. We had to cancel a day from our stay due to ship cancellation and even though this was not as per policy they refunded us for the day - no questions asked. We needed guidance on where to park in Dubrovnik safely and they guided us accordingly. I was proposed to during my stay and the owner came our running with champagne. They are great people. If you are in Dubrovnik, stay nowhere else.

ivana & Miko when't above and beyond, after arriving late ivana prepared my family and me a wonderful meal . This was just the first evening and from then on we we're treated like one of there family, they we're just the most hospitable family to my family. The first morning we we're taken on a drive round by miko who showed us where to for beaches shops restaurants doctors pharmacy, nothing was any bother for them. With regards to this property it most definitely surpassed all our expectations and location was perfect for what we wanted. excellent value for money, we would recommend ivana & Miko's villa to all of our friends. You will definitely require a car. We we're treated to a meal with miko and ivana at there house with there children and some of there friends on the last night to celebrate my wife and birthdays with traditional and drinks , what a wonderful way to finish our holiday off. 10/10

Our stay as a group of friends at Villa Majkovica was absolutely fantastic. When we arrived at the Villa, Ivana and Miho greeted us very warmly and treated us just like family. They had prepared a meal for us on arrival with drinks included and couldn't do enough for us in the way of explaining about the local area and telling us about the many beautiful sights there were to see and things to do in the vicinity.. Not only did they provide us with a meal on arrival, Ivana also prepared a surprise on another day in the way of a tureen of wonderful meat and vegetable soup for lunch. Also Miho did a superb barbeque for us the night before we left at which the whole family joined us with their charming children who were extremely polite and well behaved. We had a wonderful time chatting and laughing and it was an evening we shall always remember. The family were never intrusive and were extremely respectful of our privacy at all times, but were always on hand should we need anything. The villa is in the super little village of Gromaça set up in the hills near Dubrovnik, so you get the real feel of authentic, traditional Croatian life. The villa itself is in a very peaceful spot. You do need a car to get there and to and from the very beautiful coastline villages that this area has to offer, and to Dubrovnik itself of course. Gromaça also has a superb family owned restaurant which offers the National dish of Peka, an experience not to be missed!! Plus it is only 5 minutes walk from the villa. We can't thank Ivana and Miho enough for their wonderful hospitality and we were sad to leave them when the holiday ended as they had become real friends. Probably the best holiday that we have ever had in Croatia, a Country we love very much indeed for it's hospitality, friendliness and beauty. The host were superb! We were greeted with a snack and we even had a bbq with the hosts in the evening! The outdoor are and pool were great for all the family. All rooms have en-suite shower rooms. Our kids also loved their bedrooms on the attic.

The hosts, Ivana and Miho, were incredibly welcoming. They blessed us with some snacks and refreshments and provided great recommendations for touring the area. Best hosts we've had in any of our travels. It was also in a nice and secluded town, which was relaxing in the evenings after a day of touring.

Lovely, modern villa, well equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms all with super modern en-suites. Property is set beautiful grounds, with excellent facilities - outdoor kitchen/BBQ, garden and a nice large pool. Wonderful hosts - incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful.

We had an absolutely fantastic time here. You will need a hire car. An absolutely gorgeous villa in a stunning location, just 20 minutes from Dubrovnik. The hosts are on site if you need anything, but you wouldn't know you were there. The hosts we absolutely fantastic, sorting out any need or question we had. Exteemly kind, local people who just want you to have a great time, thank you both! Would definitely recommend!
