Exceptional location in a small fishing cove just outside of Slano. The location and peaceful setting is something out of a movie. Birds, the ocean lapping and fish jumping. Long time residents fishing nearby. The property itself is perfectly appointed. You can tell the hosts put in alot of time and energy. All you need are groceries/pivo/vino. I can’t think of a single thing missing. The host, Nikoleta, was very helpful. You are dealing with a family owned apartment and not a management company. She is very kind and thoughtful. It’s people like her why we have been coming back to Croatia for 10yrs.

Absolument tout, notre hôte Nikoleta était, particulièrement attentionnée, malgré notre arrivée tardive, de belles attentions à l’arrivée et le jour du départ, la literie vraiment confortable, l’appartement ne manquait de rien, idéalement situé ( les pieds à 1m de la mer), petit commerce alimentaire à 3 km ouvert jusqu’à 22 heures et extrêmement pratique, et restaurants. À 45 minutes de Dubrovnik.

Partir a été le moment désagréable. Tout le reste était parfait.

It was lovely and peaceful. Apartment is well equipped with everything you need and a few extra treats from the host. Amazing being able to jump into the sea from your front door.

Can’t find anything to fault

Slano je mirno morsko selo, savršeno za pravi odmor. Apartman je odličan i ima sve što je potrebno za uživanje. Plaža je blizu, a dojam boravka predivan – osjećaj mira i užitka na svakom koraku. Domaćini i gazda bili su iznimno ljubazni i gostoljubivi, što je učinilo boravak još ljepšim. Preporučujem!

The apartment had everything that was needed, and even more. In fact, residents simply need to organize their own meals in the small but fully equipped kitchen, and there is a few restaurants and 2 small groceries in Slano 4,5 km away (or bigger shops in Ston or Dubrovnik). The owner is also very kind and helpful, and the welcome and farewell gifts were a lovely touch, adding to the overall excellent experience. It's a great place to relax and unwind, away from the crowds. There's also a beautiful view from the window, terrace, and sun lounger, plus the sea is literally just a few steps away.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that I had to leave at the end of my stay... :D Those interested can even try to buy some fishes from the fisherman who sails out to sea from the same quay every day, but you'll have to get up very early in the morning...

Quiet and lovely place. Host was very friendly and helpful.

I hope that the huge, fancy tourist centre for well-off people won't spoil the place in the future.
