The hotel really exceeded my expectations. The neighborhood isn't great but my stay was fine. My room was very clean, modern, and was a good value. This is a remodeled older hotel that caters to a more "blue-collar" clientele but it was quiet and secure. It is also only like ten minutes from downtown St. Louis. I would stay there again.

If your goal is to stay at a budget friendly and clean hotel/motel in the St. Louis area, then this is the place for you. It is about 12 min from downtown St.Louis and is at least 1/2 the cost. The room was spacious, clean and suitable for a 1to 2 night stay. Perfect if you are just using the room to sleep in. If you need more, stay somewhere else but expect to pay much more.
The room and service were mostly fine, but rather frustratingly there was no hot water in the bath/shower.
The room was very clean & smelled wonderful! The blanket was super soft and I loved the hard wood floor paneling!
Does the job at this price point - I found it a comfortable place to just sleep for a couple nights. Completely no frills, and you wouldn't want to spend more time than you need to in the room, but was clean and in good condition overall. The staff was also polite and helpful when I needed assistance a couple times. If the location isn't too much of a drawback for you, I would recommend this place as a much cheaper alternative to those in downtown STL.
Basic room, very clean, comfortable beds. The hotel was close enough to the highway for an overnight stay during our trip. The staff was courteous and we were very satisfied.
We stayed one night and found our room clean, comfortable and well kept (especially for an obviously older motel). This is an exceptional place to stay if you just need a clean, quiet, comfortable, affordable place to sleep. Also, the Cahokia mounds are just up the road and are fascinating if you are a fan of archeology.
We just stayed the night but it was good. First floor which was good except hearing other people off to work going up and down the stairs. Not a bad thing as we needed to get up anyway
