The Lookout Keswick

The location was brilliant and a good family stay could be had here, would stop here again but need some maintenance needed in some areas, having spoken to D & K management who over sees the cottage bookings they were not aware of some of the faults which could be that previous guests had not report the faults. but a large family or a lot of friends stopping together it's perfect with fantastic views.

showers heads could be better maintained as some were cable tied to the holders, TV in some of the rooms didn't work, no terrestrial tv working, rubber shower mats would help older guests as the showers floors could be slippery. Down stairs kitchen had non working items i.e. Microwave/oven, also nothing to stop young children or pets from get from the balcony to the driveway / road.

Fabulous views of the mountains. Great base for hiking, plenty of room, pleasant 15 min walk to Keswick. Good stock of family games. Sun facing veranda. Bus stop nearby. Trouble free heating and hot water. Great porch for boots and coats.

View was spectacular

Had a leak through the light in the ceiling. Faulty iron which tripped the fire alarm. Phoned the emergency number in the visitors book. Left a message. No-one called back. Very disappointing. This however, didn't spoil our holiday.

The property was tastefully decorated to a high standard and furniture was also done with thought to requirements of the people staying, overall a lovely property, located well with easy access to the lakes and beautiful views from the property (felt like a retreat) great garden, lovely sitting areas, but a bit overgrown around the seats.

The shaver light in bathroom was not working above sink, changed bulb but still not working Also light above bath also not working, no bulbs to try These would have made a difference when taking a bath. Also there was hardly any shampoo/ hand soap in containers provided which would have made the experience nicer or remove the containers and not provide this. (My apologies I have not reported this to your management team, to allow them to put it right)

Excellent stay for our whole family. Wonder property, garden with amazing views.

Wonderful property with great views. We hired the whole property so we had plenty of room. Lovely garden. Keswick is a good mile away but nice walk along the old railway track.

Some of the crockery and cooking utensils were a little dirty but no major issue

The layout and flexibility of the house and the excellent location along with plenty of private parking.
