Purple Cloud Cosy 4 bed Cottage with Garden Parking Pet-Friendly

It was clean and property had what we needed.

It had a musky smell. Could clearly hear the neighbours tv in the downstairs rooms

Great stay, thanks. Would stay again. Easy to park (2 cars), house had everything we needed, liked welcome pack of milk, water, tea, coffee. Toiletries in case you'd forgotten. Host responsive.

Just a few maintenance issues - downstairs bedroom door urgently needs oiling as it's very noisy when being opened or closed. New handle needed on upstairs bedroom (broken off) and a couple of the doors didn't fully close. We had an issue with the heating when we arrived and the house was cold but Jakob was very responsive and resolved the issue quickly.

Street parking was not a problem. Parking permits provided were appreciated. Comfortable homely environment.

This home is great with four bedrooms and a nice backyard. Was a short walk to restaurants and pubs. A convenience store a few doors down made it easy to buy anything we needed from food, snacks and drinks including spirits and beer. Hosts when above and beyond our expectations for us to have a wonderful stay. After four days we left and forgot a few things at the home. Aushra send them by Royal mail, at our cost of course and made sure we received our items before we headed to our next destination. Thank you again.

It is a good size, comfortable with everything you could need with thoughtful touches and a nice size garden.

We couldn’t get the oven to work but only stayed 2 nights and microwave and hob was sufficient, so not a problem.

Very comprehensive online information and check in process. Very clean house with back garden and well stocked kitchen. The rooms were also good for our party - nothing fancy but comfortable. Hair dryer with diffuser was a welcome addition.

The only issue was parking, as we didn't see the information about booking additional parking ahead of time and then had no response from the host when we asked for additional parking tickets after the start of the stay.

Self catering. But the provision of tea. coffee and milk was very considerate. The Cottage is also situated two doors from a small corner shop / off licence. The Cottage owners were extremely helpful in sorting out parking permits. We had no trouble in parking the two cars outside or very nearby. The little garden was delightful.

SUGGESTIONS, Some more information about the televisions. It took us a while to sort them out. Also we think that some information about finding the nearby ALDI (0.5 miles away) might help future guests. Perhaps also how you can access the central shopping areas / historic dockyards by train from Fratton Station. Quick, cheap and no need to find car parking in the centre of Portsmouth. THESE ARE SUGGESTIONS AND DID NOT DETRACT FROM OUR STAY.
