Our cottage was right next to the lake which made our evening fires and sunset a very magical time. The pool, beach, and playgrounds have the kids a lot of things to do for activities. The activity center was great for something to do when the weather was bad

The geese were a major pest. They continually charged at us aggressively on our campsite and left a ridiculous amount of poop around our picnic area and fire pit. We had to request a rake to clean the area ourselves.

I liked the cabin on the lake! It was very easy to find. Staff at the gate made a late check in very effortlessly.

That I didn't stay longer!! But seriously, would be helpful to look into changing the bottom lock of the exterior doors to avoid lock out (guilty of it on our first day!) Didn't think the bottom lock was locked because we unlocked it, but didn't know we had to twist and pop out the knob. Also, a toilet upgrade may be warranted. Those tiny little things are not made for big people!! And they were low!

There was no free breakfast as advertised and our accommodations did not match the photos on this site. They took photos from a nicer cabin that we paid an additional $75/night to upgrade to.and placed those photos on a room costing $430 for 2 nights, the "one bedroom chalet" was a trailer with a broken back door, with a sizeable gap between the threshold and the actual door, held closed with a wooden bar. Anybody could easily walk in if that bar was removed.There was also no tv or internet as advertised, or any type of entertainment, we were also very far from the lake or any amenities for our kids. We ended up upgrading which but I told my husband "only if the cabin is close to the water". Our second cabin was much nicer with a small tv and internet access. This was a nicer place but I noticed that the photos posted to the chalet were taken in those upgraded cabins, which is misleading. I would not pay $580 again for a 2 night, one day stay in the future
