The Woodfords Inn

I would have rated this as average until I saw they charged me more than the price stated on Orbitz. Due to the fact that I tried multiple times via phone and email to contact the property prior to my stay with no success, I don’t have high expectations in getting this made right. The AC unit was broken in my room, which they were aware of before I arrived, because they put an extra fan in the room. Unfortunately it was hot enough that the extra fan didn’t do much. I ended up leaving a day early because it was just too hot. The room itself was fine… I killed a beetle and a big spider, but the place is in the mountains. The owner is very nice and seems interested in making sure guests are happy. Until I saw the overcharge, I was on the fence about booking again. With that and the fact that you can’t get a hold of them unless you’re at the property, I would absolutely not stay here again.

Had such a nice time a this hotel. The location is great, close the river and town. Han is an excellent host, very accommodating.

I was honestly moved by the level of service at this motel. The rooms are recently redecorated, modern, and clean (much of the furniture having been built by the owner and his family). The owner stayed up late to welcome us when we arrived, laid out a tray of snacks for us, stocked the fridge with cold water, and the next morning made us coffee. The shower had good warmth and water pressure. The air conditioning worked well. The only thing I'd change is to make the bed more firm - The soft mattress topper felt comfy to lay back onto but was a bit hot to sleep on.

I loved the area it’s in and how friendly everyone was. only complain is the wifi/reception isn’t the best but over than that it’s a great place to stay at!

Perfect after hiking. Nicely remodeled, comfortable room. Attractive mountain cabin theme. The owner is welcoming and most willing to assist with any need or request. Glad we chose it.

Area outside next to the Inn was in disarray. There were appliances, wood, metal, etc. laying around the outdoor picnic area.

The staff were very kind and the property was very well kept. Would definitely book again!
