Hampton Inn Warroad, MN

We stayed here 2 nights. The man at check in was great. He was friendly and full of helpful info. The digital key wasn’t working. The pool area and fitness room was better than most. The bar was nice and food was ok. The first morning we woke to the fire alarm going off. No info on what was going on was given. The lady at the front desk didn’t even make eye contact so we went outside and waited for the fire department to get there which took a while. The room was clean and comfortable. The same lady was at the front desk when we checked out. She was digging in her purse. When she finally looked up and saw us she didn’t say anything. Just looked at us. I told her we were checking out. She asked for my name. Looked it up. Asked if I wanted a copy. Then went back to her purse. I hope they get the digital check in and out up and running so the lady can find whatever she was looking for in her purse.

The staff in the restaurant and breakfast room were the best!!! The cleaning people were very polite and helpful. I feel the people at the front desk should take lessons from the maintenance staff! Very rude even when checking out! I laid my keywords down on the desk and she basically grabbed them and threw them in a basket. Not one question on how our stay was what so ever!

Beautiful building. Fun mini-hockey rink for the littles. Nice fitness gym.

This is likely the nicest hotel in the area. The room was pricey at $196 but that went down later in the week. My room was clean and beds comfortable. Plenty of parking with overflow for those towing. Restaurant and bar in hotel. One of the nicest fitness centers in a hotel. The big appeal to Hilton is the online check-in, choosing my room and digital unlock. The only disappointment was the digital key did not work on any door. I will stay again when in the area.

The hockey room was great. The rooftop patio was great- watched the fireworks from here.

I wish I could have picked up lotion or hair conditioner at the front desk.

Customer service was excellent. Pleasantly surprised that there was a restaurant/bar in the hotel and an outdoor balcony with seating. First Hampton Inn I have stayed at with those amenities.

The room was great. Very clean facilities. However the restaurant was to open at 3:00 and it did not open till after 4:30. We ended up driving somewhere else to eat, which was a inconvenience. Disappointed with that but will stay again next year.
