Would stay again!

Review for Unit 1. (It doesn’t not apply to other units so I would confirm which unit before booking) The condo we stayed in was NOTHING like the pictures. I always pick places rated 9 or above because I had a bad experience once and this place had great reviews and looked nice but when I walked in I was like, “What the crap? This looks like a very cheap place I’d never stay”. I had to keep reminding myself and my kids that we just had 2 nights and could leave after that. The bad: Totally different than advertised. I peaked in another unit and it was very nice and updated like the listing. Unit 1 is not and I would never pay that much to stay in unit 1 again. Too small for 6 (2 adults and 4 kids (8 to 15). We knew we would have 2 to a bed but the unit is so small there wasn’t any room to walk around with luggage and humans. We sat on the floor to watch the nfl playoff game. The motion lights outside were RIGHT next to the windows of unit 1. They went off all night, lighting the room from night to day all night. I know it’s Florida but ants and other bugs in one of the bedrooms. Zero water pressure in the shower and I mean zero. It took us ages to shower. The kitchen sink had so much water pressure we had to be careful turning it on. The tile throughout the unit is the same as the tile outside which just feels icky. The good: Beds were comfortable and clean. The owners or whatever were available for questions like the WiFi password. Temp was ok. Felt safe.

Location was near my brother. Lots of room and clean. And an affordable price.

There was a chemical smell to the apartment. I suspect too much cleaning chemicals were used. There were no directions to turn on heat.

Alex was the worst host that I've experienced in the past decade of traveling. He lied about the property having newly applied tiles (not a light gray as pictured) but instead an older, vintage brown tile in Unit 1 of Alani Bay Villas. The place had an odor and was dusty which was not going to work for my family including my infant daughter. He offered to do an ozone treatment during our stay, but that honestly should have been done prior to anyone's arrival. Ultimately, my family and I decided to make a complaint and express our dissatisfaction and unhappiness with the host, Alex, and booking.com. He sneakily charged me for an extra day after claiming if we leave by 12 the day of the complaint, we wouldn't be charged for the days we didn't stay. I could honestly write a very long response here about how terribly the host and booking.com handled this situation including the host wanting to refund me my money outside of the booking.com platform, but I don't have enough characters. My advice is to stay far away from this listing and this host! If I had read other reviews off of booking.com, then I would have thought twice before booking as what I went through seems to be consistent with some of his prior behaviors.

Excellent location with a car, in a fancy, safe and peaceful area. The place its very clean, small and cute. Good wi-fi. Easy check in and parking. Alex its an excellent host.

Everything was good. I recommend to improve the mattress, and change the AC remote control.
