Kinley Chattanooga Southside, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

As bonvoy gold , we were upgraded to king executive…which I found comparable to astandard room at an Aloft. Although The room was very clean and modern, it had no ambiance as tribute portfolios usually do. The sink was in the bedroom. We opted to park literally across the street for $11 a night rather than the valet for $24 as we stayed for 5 days and did not need the car. ..plus I hate waiting on valet(and guess where the valets parked the cars!)When we checked out, we were charged for parking …nbd…front desk gave me credit…then said something very rude about us parking across the street. Sorry..but I’m not about to take life advice from A hotel employee(he was handling the front desk as well as the valet ) The rest of the staff was fine…except the girl serving coffee…she gave me cold coffee and acted put out when asked for a fresh cup. We went to the onsite speakeasy one night, it had great ambiance , but overpriced food that was not too good…and wine was way under poured … Basically, there are many great places to stay and to eat in Chattanooga. When I go back, I think I will choose another.

Staff was not present, and unhelpful. Waited for several minutes to check in. No staff was anywhere to be found. After we sat in the lobby for a while, the clerk came out of the office next to the front desk to help us. The bed was covered in other people's hair. The bartender was Trans, and extremely rude to the party I was with, but welcomed a Trans party with kindness and great service.

Great experience at Kinley!! From our extremely friendly guest services, Eden to the quiet and comfortable room, my experience was five star. I would highly recommend and so convenient to Chattanooga’s downtown scene. I’ll definitely be back!!
