I would love to come back

This was an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The inside was clean, fresh, and in excellent condition. It felt like a hotel room transported in middle of the jungle. The night view from inside the cabin is breathtaking. It was really something special and unique.

I chose this property because of the view of the mountian and that it had a jacuzzi tub. The volcano view did not disappoint. The room was descent. Shower and space was great. Outside property was beautiful as well. There is a trail onsite which was nice for downtime. Unfortunately the mattress was like cardboard, the hottub pipes must have needed cleaned because there were black particles coming out with the water. The breakfast was really not good. For these reasons i would have to say i would not be staying here again.

The property is awesome but just a few recommendations. First one of the seats was dirty and the utensils of the kitchen was storage in a plastic can that also has some kind of dust. For me that’s an issue because I really take that on consideration. The surrounding area ware perfect, and the view of the volcano was awesome. In overall the place is really nice I just want to recommend to take care of those little details. The staff was very helpful and courteous.

The gardens are beautiful.

This place is beautiful! It is more hands off than a normal hotel, but very quaint and surrounded by amazing wildlife. The jacuzzi was lovely (it does take a bit of time to fill up, but the water is nice and hot). They provided a coffee maker with delicious coffee too. We didnt try the restaurant, because we did early morning all day tours while we were there. But we loved waking up to the sounds and views 😊

We liked staying at Tropical Suites. It was not to far from town. We were able to get a taxi no problem. Drivers seemed to use the name "Brisas Arenal". Our tour guides were familiar with the location and picked us up when needed. The grounds are well kept. The property is not in the jungle. I say this because the picture looks like you are surrounded by jungle. The room was clean, a little dated. Maid service was professional. We ate a few dinners there and we enjoyed them. Breakfast on the other hand is lacking in quality (except the fruit was delicious). Lots of birds to see just walking around the property. They do a great job with providing a bird friendly environment. We would stay there again.

We had a nice stay; the grounds are beautiful and the room is pretty however beneath the surface I don’t feel like it is worth the money paid. The jacuzzi in the shower was smelly and dirty, even after someone came to clean it for us. The shower spits out water and the staff weren’t very friendly. Overall it was a good enough stay but not worth the money. We would have been happy enough with the price has we staff not been as entitled/unfriendly and the room been cleaner.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of December. We stayed in villa 3B with a great view of the volcano. The villa was beautiful, nicely decorated and comfortable. Lots of birds -hummingbirds, toucans on the property. The locations is great especially if you have a car. Its secluded and peaceful with 5-7 minute drive to La Fortuna town centre, a few minutes to the waterfall, zip lines and hot springs. The drive to Mistico hanging bridges is about 30 minutes. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again.

Absolutely reccommended. Excellent property, amazing view. Very helpful and responsive staff.
