The Grady

This place was a gem. Awesome decor, location to restaurants and great staff.

The Grady is a great place to stay in Louisville if you are coming for the downtown distilleries. You can walk to all of them located along Main Street, without worrying about drinking and driving. Plenty of restaurants are also within walking distance, including the Grady's own Wild Swann, and a great coffee and breakfast spot right next door. Some reviews mentioned a continental breakfast, but it is not included. Air conditioning worked great for our stay during a heat wave, and the bed is very comfortable. We were able to park in nearby covered garages for less than the valet daily rate, so we did that. Overall, this boutique hotel in an old, renovated building is both charming and relaxing!

Every time I stay in Louisville, I stay at The Grady!

CLEAN & COMFY! The bed is amazing & everything seems sparkling when you check in. Valet & front desk are always happy & seem to like their jobs. Eating at the Swann downstairs is a must! the coffee is rich & flavorful and all the food was over-the-top wonderful.

The moody boldness of the Grady is the exact atmosphere I inadvertently needed. From the light fixtures to the TALL ceiling. The staff were warm and helpful. But let me tell you, the pour over coffee, wow!!! I just bought my own Fellow kettle and Copper Cow coffee, I enjoyed it that much. Location is perfect. Easy to find. The restaurant is delicious. I didn't anticipate the $50 for valet, but the service was very convenient. I had to leave early in the morning, before they started their shift, and they had my car waiting for me. It's a gem!
