Good location, comfortable. Walking distance to the tavern for dinner and surrounds. Friendly reception.

Could use updating. The loft sleeping arrangements didn’t work for us to well as my husband’s snoring kept our son awake but that’s our problem. The walls are thin could hear the neighbours.

My partner and I recently travelled to Turangi Leisure Lodge while attending the National Corrections Golf Tournament in Tūrangi, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Our accommodation had been organised in advance by Charisse, who ensured everything was perfectly arranged for our arrival. We arrived earlier than the standard check-in time, but the team were incredibly accommodating. We were given the option to leave our bags so they could be placed in our room and were also provided with our room key ahead of time, knowing we would be returning late after a practice round at the golf club before the two-day tournament. When we finally arrived at our two-bedroom villa that evening, we were immediately impressed. The villa was exceptionally comfortable, spacious, and very well appointed. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and both bathrooms were generous in size. A real bonus was having a washing machine and dryer available, which turned out to be incredibly handy. The first day of the tournament brought rain before turning into warm weather later in the day, so being able to wash and dry our clothes was perfect. Another highlight was the underfloor heating in the bathroom, which kept the space wonderfully warm and cosy. Despite being close to the road, the villa was also very quiet, with minimal road noise, making for a very restful stay. This was actually our second time staying here, which says a lot in itself. When we checked out, the receptionist, Nicole, was incredibly friendly and took the time to chat with us about our stay. She was genuinely interested in making sure we had enjoyed our visit, which really added a personal touch to the whole experience. Overall, our stay at Turangi Leisure Lodge was outstanding. The accommodation, the thoughtful amenities, and the warm, welcoming service made it a fantastic place to stay. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area and will definitely be back again in the future.

Es gibt einen Außenpool und 2 überdachte Whirlpools, welche nach einem langen Wandertag sehr angenehm waren.

Leider sind einige Zimmer sehr alt von der Einrichtung her (vermutlich aus den 90er Jahren). Dies kommt auf den Bildern online nicht so herüber. Sollte man ein neues moderneres Zimmer wollen muss man wahrscheinlich ein teureres nehmen. Für 2 Tage war die Ausstattung aber dennoch ausreichend.

Die Unterkunft war sauber, das Bett war bequem.

Das Bad müsste renoviert werden, vor allem die Wasserregulierung und der Duschkopf sind total veraltet.
