War viel zu kalt in Wohnung

Dobra lokalizacja, koniecznie z samochodem, bo dojście do miasteczka jest dość strome. Mieszkanie bardzo wygodne, wyposażenie we wszystko co trzeba. Na plus tarasik, śniadania w słońcu bardzo przyjemne.

Niestety, problemy z zameldowaniem. Koperty z instrukcją do zameldowania zostały pomylone i mieliśmy problem z dostaniem się do domu. Trochę naszej winy, bo po odbiorze kluczy poszliśmy na obiad, do domu zjechaliśmy kolo 22. Na szczęście cała sytuacja została odkręcona, ale przez pół godziny było bardzo nerwowo i nieprzyjemnie.

Het was erg schoon en knus. Heel attent van de rental dat er een welkomstpakketje lag op tafel en een schaal met rozen. Er was aan alles gedacht in de keuken. Grootste pluspunt was dat we onze auto makkelijk, gratis en veilig konden parkeren op een eigen terrein, aangezien het parkeren in Mennagio centrum een drama is.

Er komt bijna geen zonlicht in het huis. We hadden het heel koud in huis ondanks het warme weer buiten en de thermostaat kon niet hoger gezet worden. Vooral in de nacht was het niet te doen. Het huis ligt wat hoger in Mennagio. Met een fijne wandeling van 15 a 20 minuten waren we beneden in het centrum. Maar het terug omhoog lopen/klimmen was wel heel vermoeiend.

The apartment is ok.

The neighbors clearly aren’t happy about having a short-term rental in the complex. We left the car in the parking lot and, within an hour, it had been keyed (looked like with a key). I told the hosts and they didn’t seem surprised, didn’t even offer an apology. It was a rental car, and the company kept the entire deposit, so the stay ended up costing us twice as much as the apartment. Besides that… the beds were really uncomfortable. And they left us a single roll of toilet paper for 4 adults and a child for 6 days!!!

The welcome package was a very pleasant surprise. The staff in the office was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed the outside verandah very much.

We didn't realise it was quite steep to walk to and from, but still walk able.

Lovely and clean with all everything you need.

The property was lovely we had no problem at all with the apartment. Clean, well decorated, great location & peaceful We were a little bit disappointed,that it seemed, after every stay, they take out everything not leaving any condiments. Such as salt pepper..etc. meaning that you have to buy everything. We left all ours, so hope the next person staying had the use of these. Location was perfect for us, as we loved the walk down to town. Coming back was a bit hard specially in the sun, but definitely needed the climb after all the food and drink. My only comment on this, is the fact that the gate was always locked at the back of the estate for the short cut to the road. Beds were a bit soft but that is preference :-) Rubbish is an issue! if you are staying a few days. (We stayed 8 days) and had one bag, was not informed that you have to have coloured bags and that there are special days you put the rubbish at the top of the car park. So we had to leave all the rubbish in the porch. The only other thing I will say. Is the lady in the apartment above… be aware, she is a real busy body. We have a really expensive touring motorbike that was sitting in the sun all day, one day we had heavy rain all day. My husband wheeled the motorbike, closer to the apartment under the shelter to try and protect from the sun and rain. She was straight on the phone to the estate manager and our agent, knocking on our door shouting at us!!! We moved it straight away. However it was ok for here grandchildren to leave all there bikes! Toys! And other bits (which were an eyesore under the shelter!!!!) Also when we tried to put rubbish at the top of the car park, on the day we thought is was rubbish day, she told us to take it back they have already been and take the other bags there, which were not ours!! and put in the apartment.. not help us by telling us when or where we can dispose of the rubbish that was mounting up..

Very friendly environment. Plenty of room and exactly what was advertised.

We did not have a for the back gate which made access over the fence difficult.

nice quiet location

Fair distance from Menaggio centre and pretty steep, although we did discover an hourly bus service to and from the centre that stops right outside the property and cost only €1.60
