By the Beach

The room was very cute and it matched the description. No surprises! The location on the beach was awesome! Restaurant and staff at Hotel Oceano were great! Highly recommend!

The location is right in the city center near everything, the bed was comfortable, there were tea and kettle, necessities like soap, shampoo and shower gel provided. Even thought the balcony is extra small, you can still have a sea view from it. You can hear the sound of waves and birds from the room which is nice (you can hear the people from the street too but it always comes with city centre locations, so that's on guests preference). The buffet breakfast is served in a hotel right across the rooms for only 7€. A sleepover for 1-2 nights is ok, but nothing more than that.

The room wasn't very clean (dirty mirror, dust on the bed, hair on the towels, sheets and on the floor, the shower is moldy, a kettle had water from the previous guests in it). The bathroom smelled bad which spread to the whole room. Some things weren't working (trash bin, hairdryer). The elevator is extra tight (not for the claustrophobic people) and it's also hard to fit a bigger suitcase and one person in it (but the stairs are very tight and steep, and the elevator works only if you hold the button for the preferred floor the whole ride so you have to use it somehow). The building is across the hotel around 2 meters away so if you need some privacy, it's not the best choice since you can see right into each others rooms from the balcony. The room is also small so if you have more luggage it will be hard to fit in.
