Charging to park there

Location and proximity to beach, the food at hotel bar was excellent. Easy check in and housekeeping does great.

Wish balcony had a light for night time. Breakfast in cafe is a tad pricey

Very clean hotel, updated amenities, great pool, great pool bartender who made exceptional food, we liked our room a lot.

We were charged twice for the same room. Once through booking.com and once by the hotel. My husband talked to 2 managers who said they would fix & it still hasn’t been resolved. Both charges are showing on our credit card.

You park, check in, then have toget back in your car to park on the other side of hotel. This is a strange set up since every other hotel that I’ve ever been to you can take down all your luggage check-in and go right to your room. I took down all my luggage with my mother who uses a walker because she’s disabled and we had to get back in the car load up again to park elsewhere. Poor sound proofing in the rooms, I heard walking on floor above me all night. There’s $15 a day parking fee. The “breakfast for 2” I purchased ended up being a $30 voucher which was not enough to cover breakfast for 2. The place was clean and pretty but I’d never return.

The property was in great condition and located conveniently right across the street from the beach. But the staff were the greatest asset. In a world where hospitality sometimes seems an abandoned concept, every associate we encountered was utterly delightful, from the front desk to housekeeping to the bar and even a kitchen crew member on her way home after her shift raved about her employer, unprompted and aglow with sincerity. Kudos to management at all levels for cultivating that kind of culture! I highly recommend but you’ll have to drive a short distance to the historic district shops and dining.

Trip was amazing. Brought our granddaughter! We loved the pool area and that we were able to walk to beach and dinner.
