It is a big hotel with nice space.Nice beds

It is two hotels and you do not know which hotel you are in.One has free breakfast,the other you pay for breakfast.

The room I booked said 2 queen beds and a pull-out sofa. It was after I booked the room that I received an email saying property may not have pull-out sofa. Had to get a air mattress for my kid to sleep on.

We stayed here traveling through to Tampa for a cruise in November of 2025. This place is conveniently located right next door to the beach and some restaurants. It has a beautiful pool and hot tub, but were told the pool heater was broken and it was too cold to get in. Kids were piled in the hot tub all night. They had some outdoor games we played. They gave us a balcony room that was overlooking the pool and you could see the ocean, very nice. It was clean and quiet. Starbucks in the lobby. No free breakfast. I think I paid for parking, even though they didn’t mention that when I checked in. They also didn’t give us our pool passes which made it confusing as to if we had to pay for the pool or not, so we had to go back and ask. My kid pointed out that there was no way to open the refrigerator in the room because the door got stuck on the cabinet door that was apparently put in after the refrigerator. Other than that, we will stay again in June 2026.

This was our third visit to the Courtyard at Fernandina Beach and we will not be returning. Past experiences were excellent, but this visit was not up to previous standards. I should have known what to expect when registering and the staff didn't break a smile. Not a pleasant welcoming when we were told that breakfast was unavailable to us. In past years we were able to purchase breakfast in the adjoining hotel. We were asked which day we'd like housekeeping-Only one day of three was allowed. The swimming pool was too cold for me to swim, although some others did go swimming. There was no comlimentary coffee or tea available in the lobby for guests. One had to (pay) use the Starbucks cafe in the hotel. Upon leaving we told our credit card was being used to pay for parking. We were unaware that we'd be charged $15 daily to park and were charged for each day we stayed plus the day we checked out at 9 am. On a positive note, the hotel is situated across the street from a state park and within walking distance of a number of good restaurants and close enough to the beach to walk over. The room & bathroom were clean and the beds were good.

The rooms are modern, clean, comfortable beds and walk-in shower. Excellent location to walk the beach or visit the State Park across the street. If you enjoy walking, stroll down the road to town.

We were in town for the Amelia Island Half Marathon and had a perfect stay. Rooms were nice and clean. Loved the updated stand up shower. Bed was super comfortable. Location was in perfect proximity to the start/finish line, literally a 3 min walk, if even that. Actually enjoyed my stay at the hotel more than the race.
