Woodland Glen Lodge B&B

We stayed in the Deluxe King Room, so expected it to be spacious, but it was a really nice room, with good working space area, bathroom and comfy relaxing chairs. There was a communal area that I imagine would be a nice place to read a book but as we arrived late we didn't make use of it. The breakfast menu was small as it is a lodge of five rooms and it was really, really nice. Hosts were also lovely. We went to Hokitika for the Gorge and it did not disappoint. The Lodge was a great stop-off for us as we went from Franz Josef to Queenstown.

Nothing we didn't like - a welcome respite as Franz Josef is mostly hostels.

Easy to find and private. Best breakfast on the entire trip. Great hosts. Love the cows.

Early morning wake up by rooster.

Sehr grosszügiges und saubere Zimmer, die Unterkunft liegt etwas ausserhalb (3 min mit dem Auto) aber wunderschön mit einem tollen Garten um das Haus, Anne und Fraser waren tollen und wahnsinnig lustige Gastgeber, das Frühstück war phänomenal, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen

Beautiful very friendly home. Stunning extra large bedroom (v comfortable bed) and extra large bathroom, very bright with wonderful views. Absolutely amazing and delicious breakfast, thank you 🤩
