On the Beach 2

Location was great. Kitchen and coffee/tea facilities were fantastic.

The smell of damp. There is also a definite issue in the right hand corner of the bedroom with obvious sign of water leakage. The shower is a disastrous accident waiting to happen. No guard for the drain and a combination of tiles with water seeping under the glass door made the area very slippery even with a bath mat. There was no lamp bulb in the second bedroom. Small detail just general lack of attention. This is our 3rd house with Freycinet Holiday House and we definitely won’t be choosing this one again.

Not a good start the battery on the front door lock was dead and had to get locksmith out to fix it … we got in with help from the owner.

Location to the bay and walking track was great.

Very sparse linens - one hand towel for 3 people, additional charge for a person to have the twin bed made up which was ridiculous when you rent a whole house for the purpose of using both rooms. One pillow for each bed - felt like a college dorm room for the price paid as it was one of the most expensive places we stayed for one night - would not return. Living room is not setup for more than two people to sit and watch TV.

Great location, extra large apartment, well resourced with everything we needed Didn't get to try the BBQ- too windy, but did manage a lovely night on the balcony overlooking the harbour. a true delight. A short walk into town via the local track is an added bonus.

Four single lounge chairs were very uncomfortable, only two of stayed there but the chairs left something to be desired. Too cold for a local swim at the nearby beach even though it was still summer.
