Pelican Point on Clearwater Beach

Close to the beach. Very clean room. Loved the pool.

The position of the hotel is literally 2 minutes from the beach

Bed was too soft and the rooms are dated

It was close to the beach and walking distance to the shops and restaurant’s.

There is nothing I didn’t like about the property.

La ubicación es fantástica, cerca de la playa y a las principales atracciones vas caminando.

La cama muy chica para compartirla entre dos personas y las almohada, muy incómodas. Perdía agua el fregadero de la cocina. Se nota la falta de mantenimiento del lugar en general. Tenían un dispenser de agua, pero la caliente nunca funciono.

I called this property before I arrived, because I wasn’t sure if the had a 24 hour desk. I spoke to a lady named Robin on the phone, and she told me that she would be going home prior to my arrival, and that the front desk area doesn’t have anyone on duty after 11 pm, but she assured me, everything would be fine, even if I wasn’t there before that time. She sounded so sincere, and so sweet and friendly, and explained to me how I would still be able to get my room, even after hours. When I first pulled into the driveway, I kinda wondered, “Hmmm this doesn’t look like a huge modern hotel…”. I got there around 10 pm, and she created me with the warmest smile and was amazingly nice and friendly. I got my key, and headed to my room. It had an outside entrance. I gotta tell you, once I entered the room I was amazed! This was probably the nicest, cleanest, most well appointed room. The front room had a sitting area with a nice couch, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. The pillows were the kind that go flat as soon as your head hits them. The heated swimming pool was immaculately clean. There’s a restaurant and lounge directly next to the parking lot, “Salty’s” and if you tell them you’re a guest at Pelican Point. The hotel lot was strictly for guests of the property. I don’t know when I’ll come back to Clearwater beach, but I guarantee, this is the property I’ll book. Robin was there the night before I checked out, and I had a small cut on my finger, and she immediately got me a bandaid and put it on my finger. You won’t find a nicer place, with a nicer staff, anywhere. Thank you Pelican Pointe and a special thank you to the nicest front desk staff. Thank you Robin! You’re the best!!!
