Residence & Pool Villa Schwarz Suites

Perfect location with a toddler as not too many steps from the main promenade with the pram. Swimming pool is perfect when travelling with a toddler, availability of sun loungers at any time of day so no need to reserve loungers, towels for the pool were provided. Spacious & very clean one bedroom apartment, perfect for our needs. Great host, Marija, who met us on arrival and helped with our luggage. Marija was on hand every day if we needed anything.

There wasn’t an air conditioning unit in the bedroom, which made it a little uncomfortable on the warmer nights. We managed by keeping the bedroom door open overnight so we could reap the benefits of the air conditioning but still on warmer nights it was a little uncomfortable. The sofa bed in the living area wasn’t comfortable as a sofa as it was quite unstable.

A lovely property in a perfect location situated between 2 beautiful bays, offering quick access to all that's around - restaurants, shops, the marina etc. Villa Schwarz is slightly elevated in the picturesque hillside of the very peaceful resort Cavtat - which carries a lovely vibe all day long and through into the night. The property sits beneath the flightpath of incoming planes - which was no negative for us whatsoever, infact quite the opposite! No disruption caused in the slightest. The pool area which offers plenty of sunbeds, was very peaceful too and was never really that busy whilst we were there for our 1 week stay mid August. That said, we preferred to visit the numerous different beach areas dotted around the bays - with many offering sunbeds for a fee, some with a toilet and snacks etc though its worth mentioning that there are a couple of supermarkets and a bakery etc within the resort allowing you to stock up there enroute. Boat trips are available from the Marina, with Dubrovnik being the main attraction and a must, though very busy. We paid €15 each for a return trip even though it was advertised at €20 without the need to haggle - it was offered quickly. Its worth noting that we paid around £12 for a taxi to the resort from the airport and got dropped off closeby at the tourist information centre, then the same on our return - just a short walk and a number of steps away (by the main church at the Marina). Marija met us at the villa and gave us a very warm welcome and a very thorough insight to the appartment, rules and local area etc and even offered to fetch us any goods required should we not be able to obtain them locally! A truly lovely stay we had and shall definately be returning one day!

L'appartement était propre, bien agencé et comportait tous les équipements utiles à un séjour agréable. L'accès à la piscine, la petite terrasse privative et la grande terrasse était vraiment chouette. Marija était une hôte formidable disponible et à l'écoute.

Having a pool in summer was fantastic. Location - 1 minute walk to centre of Cavtat. Staff were fantastic. Marja was always available to help and very friendly.
