The bed was to used. Got a back ache.

Breakfast was better than I expected. Staff was always available and responsive. Really ceramic mugs and glasses in the room.

Coming to Hyatt House Denver Anschutz is like coming home, very warm and comfortable. The staff who warmly welcomed me and rememberedme from 6 mos ago are friendly and over-the-top helpful. The rooms are the cleanest, well thought out for comfort and convenience with great water pressure and drainage in the shower. The bed and pillows are luxuriously comfortable

Parking was okay room was a little far from the elevator..

I didn't like that there was no Cover to the Front doors and a narrow entrance.

The breakfast was wonderful; lots of variety in the food and nicely arranged. Plenty of places to sit .

This is a good option if you are going to Anschutz Medical Center. Be sure to call directly for the medical rate! It is directly across the street from the hospital, and still within walking distance to the medical offices. There is quite a lot of handicapped parting close to the front door, with the rest of it being a little bit away, but in a lit parking lot. There is not a "back door" so to speak, so if you like to take the stairs, expect to be let out outside without a reentry option. The bar is good -- although only a few tap options. The food from the "restaurant" was actually very good. It just comes from the same kitchen as the breakfast so not a ton of options, but the BLT and fries are awesome! We stayed in what was considered a suite. It was large, which was nice, but only on the 2nd floor so we had a view of the rooftop and heating/cooling mechanisms. No big deal for us because we were only staying one night this time, but when I return for my husband's surgery, I would be sure to ask for higher room. Ask for even-numbered room to get on the opposite side of Colfax. Very quiet. Unfortunately, in this room the bed was uncomfortable but hopefully not every room is that way. The other issue about the suite is that the bathroom is on the same side as the bedroom, so I had a hard time getting up early when he was sleeping. It will work perfectly though when I'm on my own. Breakfast was just okay. Nothing that stands out. All the doors are locked, so be sure to have your key card or digital key to get back in. But I appreciated that bit of security.

We picked this place for it's location to the hospital where I was having surgery. We could walk and didn't need to rent a car. There was no hand soap of any kind in either the kitchen or bathroom. My husband had to walk around until he found a place to buy some. One night, there was a very loud argument between some people in another room, which went on for hours. We called down to the desk, but she said she couldn't leave her post because she was the only one there. Too bad there wasn't security. We found out the next day that two other parties complained as well. The pool and gym appeared clean. My husband said the breakfast was adequate, but should have more options for vegetarians and vegan people.

Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
