Beautiful property, discreet, relaxed, not very big. Great view over the bay from the rooms, we had one in the Cliff House. There are three pools, the most popular one was quite busy and during the day it was difficult to find chaiselongues. They have a lovely fitness room with 3 treadmills. The spa is small but nice. Three restaurants on site, we only ate at the Lebanese one, Moutaya, very good food but expensive. Reservations needed for dinner, there are few tables. They have the best lava cake I have ever tasted.

The only minus is the beach. It is very small, probably 20 m long and very rocky. All the large beaches on the island can be reached only by car. Also, during one of the nights there was a very strong sewage smell coming. I would really like to know the source.

Location / Rooms / Views / Amenities: The hotel is greatly positioned in a secluded bay of the stunning Mahé island. Views of the bay are incredible, including at sunset. Our Ocean view room with balcony was perfect: sizeable, spotless, large bathroom, fantastic shower, comfortable bed. The main hall of the house leading to the terrace pool is also stunning and will gift you with views that will be hard to forget. The fitness centre was a state of art: large, open 24h, properly air conditioned and equipped with brand new Technogym machines and weights. Perfect for people that are into fitness. Breakfast / Dining: Breakfast is good, with noteworthy mention for their fresh fruit selection. All staff are kind and willing to accommodate requests, however service can be slow, so make sure you allow at least 1 hour if you are ordering eggs or similar. The same area becomes an Italian restaurant from 12:30pm, which we tried once for lunch. Our red snapper ceviche was too seasoned, and the rest was ok. We also tried the other two restaurants: Moutya, offering Creole cuisine, was by far our favourite, with an octopus to die for. Kokoye had good sushi but do not expect a high-end fine dining experience as this is more on the simpler side (still a bit pricey tho). Potential improvements / Suggestions: Concierge was generally responsive and helpful via WhatsApp, although knowledge of activities both in Mahé and other islands should be improved as well as general coordination (e.g. our check out bill wasn’t ready even though we messaged them 40 mins beforehand). One day we had planned to leave the hotel very early for our daily visit to La Digue and Praslin. We were very pleased when they told us an early breakfast package could be arranged. However, our sandwiches and porridge were very poor quality and not even close to what you would expect from a 5-star hotel (especially considering they advertise this service). Our suggestion: just stop at a supermarket the day before and sort yourselves out instead. Minibar selection could also be improved (only beverage and chocolate) considering there is no room service and their restaurants close pretty early around 9pm seems to be the last booking time. In terms of beach access, this is quite small and rocky so it will be good for pictures and to put your feet in the water, but you will not be able to spend the day there. One other thing to mention is that sunbeds in the pool areas can be difficult to find even when the property is half empty. For these reasons, we believe the hotel was near to perfection for us because we had a car and were always on the run but could become a bit tricky for customers planning to spend their days in the hotel Conclusion: We had a great time in Mahé and were happy to stay at Mango House. Despite some of the suggestions mentioned, we would definitely recommend this hotel and are happy to provide an "excellent" review, especially considering the affordable pricing point compared to other 5 star hotel options on the island

Amazing stay experience We had a great time in Mango House Seychelles Angelique welcome us and assist us during the stay. The manager, Mohamed meet us daily to make sure our stay always great, he provide the room upgrade as we are a Hilton Honor member, Priyanta and the housekeeping arranged the best welcome amenities and cleanliness. The infinity pool is stunning and provides bubbles at sunset to all the guest. Muse restaurant staff are helpful, we tried the Moutya restaurant and was great to experience the local food. On the final evening, we had a dinner at Kokoye which was the best, we met Chef Roni who arranged the best japanese food and thank you to Chef Mortada to provide the best dining experience. I highly suggest you to stay at Mango House for your Seychelles trip

We are grateful for a short and sweet getaway experience we had at LXR Mango house Seychelles. The peace, calmness and most especially the kindness and attentiveness of all the staff and delicious food. This trip is so meaningful and remind us to be present and enjoy each moment. It has great location and we felt so lucky to be surrounded by the beauty of nature.

The staff were wonderful and everyone went above and beyond to make my stay special. The rooms are huge and beautifully designed. I had a large terrace with a filtered view of the water near the pool. The hotel is small and intimate and service was wonderful. Ella was especially helpful and kind and she went out of her way to make my stay special. The largest downside to this resort is that it has a small rocky beach, with no loungers on it, so you're largely confined to staying by the pool. A lot of Europeans here that smoked by the pool, which I found bothersome.
