"Perfect for a stay in prime location with fine facilities"

The location is fantastic- walking distance to the old town square, the ocean swimming spot and a grocery store. The house is perfect for a week stay, with washing machine, plenty of towels (including beach towels!), pots, even blender. Clean and NO cockroaches (which can be common in October in Ponta Delgada due to climate). Every room has a fan provided, which helped at bight as it was getting staffy. There is a lovely private terrace at the top, to enjoy a glass of wine. The host has kindly provided laundry detergent, dishsoap, bin bags, olive oil, salt, pepper and lots of toilet paper. The beds are sooooo comfortable.

The house is quite damp (the dampness reducess after few minutes with opened windows and a fan), which makes the laundry take long to dry. There is a dehumidifier provided but we couldnt get it to work (it was on but no water extracting). Also there is a lot of broken furniture: a couple of dining chairs and 2 terrace armchairs, but all are still somewhat usable. Those are very minor, and none of these have affected our stay or experience. Wifi does not reach the room at the top floor, but works in the lower room and the ground floor livong room.
