Hotel Haus Schmidt

The room was nice and clean, not too big but comfortable. The breakfast was good and enough, staff was very friendly even though they didn't spoke English.

The shower was terrible: very small, too close to the toilet and without a shower curtain, so the water could go all over. Very unhandy. There was only a rain shower, but so high that it was impossible to adjust it by hand.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Simple yet excellent breakfast with a good variety. Location was also great to have some quiet time whilst still being close from the Messe. Convenient in terms of shops and restaurants too.

Tired and dated Smell

Breakfast was essential and tasty. The room was clean and had enough space to move around and store my large luggage. The staff were kind despite the fact I could not speak in German so it was difficult to communicate.

The hotel is a bit far from the city centre so it was necessary to use a taxi to come and go. In the surrounding at night there are very few places to eat properly or even just grab a bite. Because of the luggage I would have preferred not to climb the stairs to reach the second floor...

Everything was super, the location near Essen trade fair, the rooms, the breakfast, the quiete place.

Super nettes Personal. Das WLan ist vom Signal her etwas schwach, selbst im Zimmer hat es nicht immer funktioniert. Wenn man Duschen geht, flutet man das Bad ob man will oder nicht. Insgesamt aber empfehlenswert.

Frisch renovierte Zimmer. Sauber und Ruhig. Zuvorkommendes Personal. Gerne wieder!
