Terlingua Ranch Lodge

You do have to slow down the last 8 miles on an unpaved dirt & gravel road, but its worth it. Beautiful scenery with great star viewing and lots of wildlife. Bad Rabbit cafe on site with excellent food and a big outside patio. Wifi worked well and their onsite little store had ice and snacks. Cabins were nice with firepits and outside seating on deck, beds were comfortable, great shower and clean cabins.

No breakfast served except purchased at the cafe.

Roads there were bad, but we had been warned. A few more outlets in the room would have been great!

The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The Bad Rabbit Cafe had great food and great staff that were friendly even when super busy.

We were uncomfortable with the 16 mile drive - it felt like we were going to the "middle of nowhere" and the condition of some of the properties we passed were of concerning. It would have been nice to be warned about the property we would be passing and pictures of the property we would be going to.

No microwave, hair dryer, coffee maker, television. Electric outlet loose, possibly unsafe. Shower pipe needs repair. Also, hotel NOT in Terlingua town, but 50 miles outside Big Bend Park on dead end of dirt road. Over priced with zero amenities.

Roads were a bit rough getting to the property

We enjoyed the lodge plenty. It was nice and clean, the water was hot for all of us to shower and the AC was nice and cold. Beds are comfortable

Great place to stay

Generally very good. Restaurant excellent. Bathroom needs some work. Found it too distant when visiting Big Bend NP.

We loved it the rooms are very clean . The pool is very celan we l9ved it here. Were already thinking of coming back. The front desk receptionist was soo swee. Dont follow the road marathon rd from big bend back to the hotel. Its super rocky .
