"Good Place to Crash near Volcanoes"

8.0

Location is great for Volcanoes National Park.

Rooms and home a bit dated and in need of some upgrades.

Unique experience, a stay at an old Hawaiian house we had to ourselves. Old and quaint but in good condition. Very convenient for visiting Volcanoes NP and a few dining options nearby.

There is a lot of noise, but it’s the sounds of beautiful birds chirping . The neighborhood felt safe and tranquil.

Very nice place, quiet and relaxed. Close to the national park. It was self check in but they made sure to be there if anything needed. It could have been a bit cleaner. But overall it was good. Would definitely go back there again.

"Great spot for a night or two. Clean and remote location."

7.0

Location is right outside Volcano National Park. Higher elevation makes the air cooler than down at sea level.

Walls are thin. If the other guests are making any noise it can be heard. Wild pigs were in the front yard every day. They don't seem aggressive yet, but it's clear that they are getting fed by guests or neighbors. More of an invasive species issue than anything else though.
