Volcano Hale

The location to Volcano national Park is very close. And easy to get to. I like it that they had dehumidifiers around.

The facility seemed a little dry. Or bland, the open area did not feel comfortable at all. But the room was good.

אין מזגן וגם אין מאוורר בחדרים שיכול לתת מענה למקרה שחם. הוילונות והרהיטים היו מאובקים. לא מתאים לבעלי מוגבלות בעליה במדרגות.

I feel like the photos don't do this place justice. It was so so cozy!! I got the best nights' sleep of my trip here, and the shower was lovely and warm.

I wish there was a water filter - we had to buy a few bottles each day (which was a bit pricey in the village). Couldn't figure out the TV but that wasn't really an issue as we were so tired each day from exploring. Really just a water filter would have made the stay 100% perfect.

Clear instructions for a non-hosted space, cozy rooms, clean bathrooms, nice big beds, nicely equipped common kitchen, free coffee (including decaf). Good faciities in a 100 year old historic home for the price.

Beds in our room were raised to the point short folks may have issues climbing on to them, TV turns itself on after switching it off with remote (had to unplug it to make it stay off), shower pressure was low (probably from water saving since water source is catchment). The common spaces smelled a little musty but understandable since it's a historical home built in 1912. An electric kettle would hhave been nice in the kitchen. Nothing major.

The only good thing about this place is that it’s close to the national park

This accommodation is not clean at all, we noticed it as soon as we arrived and the smell was unbearable. The kitchen smells bad, the utensils seem like they haven’t been cleaned in a long time (I almost threw up just by opening the fridge). The bedroom windows don’t open properly, only two of them, and the air doesn’t circulate well. The carpet is dirty and the shower floor had a crust of dirt that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. I was really disgusted, and we preferred to leave in the morning every day and only come back at night just to sleep because the smell and the rooms are not clean. You need to improve the cleanliness of this place. Being an non-hosted is not an excuse for having a dirty and smelly place. Please do better.
