Old, finicky pumbling, surrounded by sounds of burds, bugs, and frogs that might disturb the sleep of some. Location to park excellent

Great location and value for money. All basic necessities provided. Good Kitchen for cooking. I would recommend this place.

The private room was very comfortable. The shared kitchen and bath were fine. It was a peaceful location.

Overall I'd give 4.5 stars. Great location if you want to be close to the National Park. I received a free upgrade to the king room on the ground floor, but there was a persistent musty smell, similar to a gym locker. The dehumidifier in the room would not work, despite the instructions to juggle the tank until the light turns off. I suspect this is the cause of the smell. Otherwise the accomodations were fine, bed was not very comfortable but worked after a long day hiking. Check in and check out were easy and there was enough space for parking. I would stay here again for the price and proximity to the park.

the Kitchen was incomplete, and was missing an oven. there is no where to eat out around and we were relying on a good kitchen. photos online show outdoor seating but there is none, not good for smokers. our group also got weirdly split across floors. It is very cold in Volcano and the house has fan running 24/7 with no access to off switch. place was also filled with a lot dehumidifiers which full up multiple times a day. clear signs of water damage, Higher likely there is mould in the house.

Beautiful location and lovely old home that has so much heart and soul. The place is self serving so we didn’t meet any staff but it was easy to communicate with them online and checking in was simple. Our room was so cozy and warm which was nice because the volcano area can be chilly. Would absolutely stay here again!
