Maldron Hotel Glasgow City

Nice hotel, slept like a baby

Small bar, no haggis at breakfast

The shower had mould, no shower gel curtains hanging off the rails, no replenishing of water. I mentioned it to the staff on reception nothing happened. Extremely disappointed as we have stayed with the Maldron every time we have visited Glasgow, Edinburgh and Newcastle, now having second thoughts?

Very little this trip.

The hotel was very clean, easy to check in, and the location was close to transportation options (near the bus station, train stations, and subway). It met my expectations and no major complaints

The bed was in rollers so moved a bit. The elevators seemed to often have a wait with large groups.

Wir wurden sehr unfreundlich an der Rezeption empfangen.

Das Zimmer war genauso wie angepriesen, was nicht immer der Fall ist. Alles sauber, gemütlich und auch leise, sobald man die Fenster geschlossen hat. Das Personal, egal ob am Empfang oder beim Frühstück, war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Das Frühstück war umfangreich, einzig die Süßspeisen waren für meinen Geschmack zu süß. Die Lage des Hotels ist auch hervorragend, egal ob man zu Fuß Glasgow erkunden will oder mit Bus und Bahn reisen möchte, alles ist sehr leicht zu erreichen. Unser Fazit: Wenn wir wieder nach Schottland reisen, werden wir das Hotel nehmen.

Einzig das manchmal überlaufene Frühstücksbuffet, knapp bevor die Reisebusse abfahren, war leicht störend.

Location, great for a visit to the city of Glasgow..location is always important

Asked for a quiet room, I know its not always possible, but to be given a room facing a building site was not very professional. When I question this I was change to a very quiet room. Why did I have to raise the issue sbout the building site when there was a quiet room available. Is it because they don't read requests from customers? I should not have to write about this if they had read ny request. Annoyed.
