Mission Pacific Beach Resort, part of JdV by Hyatt

We worked with the Mission Pacific team (Brianna, Ellie, and Renee) to coordinate a hotel block for our wedding as well as to host our rehearsal dinner. The experience was fantastic - the hotel itself was beautiful, the rooms were clean, modern, and had amazing views. The service was even better -- all questions were prompt answered, all concerns addressed, and the team went above and beyond to make our experience a special one. 12/10 would recommend.

In terms of cost vs. the hotel experience and location, it’s an excellent hotel. My wife compared it favorably with the Ritz Laguna Niguel. I agreed but pointed out that it’s half the price of the Ritz. We hope to return someday

Our ocean-view room was pure perfection: spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed with plush bedding that felt like sleeping on a cloud, floor-to-ceiling windows, a dreamy spa-like bathroom, and a private balcony where we sipped morning coffee while watching waves crash against the iconic Oceanside Pier just steps away. The views were postcard-worthy, especially at sunset. Staff was top tier: friendly, professional, responsive. We're looking forward to returning soon!

Excellent experience. Love the beach front view. Oceanside pier is very clean and is just literally across the resort. Love their roof top bar rated # 1. And the pool place. Room is very clean and modern. Reception area looks great and with friendly staff who provided fast services.

Beautiful hotel next to beach. Everything you need are steps away. Every staff at the hotel are genuinely so nice and helpful. From bell guys, housekeeping and beach staffs. Shout out to Diana and Ashley at front desk for making our stay extra special and accommodating. What a Gem 💎! We appreciate all your hospitality! Beachfront umbrellas towels are so nice and convenient. Made to order Breakfast at Piper next door is amazingly so good. Acai bowls and avocado toast are the most beautiful and best we’ve eaten anywhere.

Mission Pacific Beach Resort is a beautiful hotel with friendly, accommodating staff. If you want to be in the middle of the action, this is your hotel. The hotel has a lovely view of the beach, however, access to the beach requires crossing two streets. If you want quiet and tranquility, this is probably not the place for you. There is a lot of street noise and the area has a propensity for really noisy motorcycles and vehicles. There is a pool and rooftop bar on the 6th floor of the hotel, so great views from there. Also, Mission Pacific guests have access to its sister hotel across the street, The Seabird pool and other amenities. The Seabird pool is larger as is the fitness center. If you have younger children, The Seabird is probably the better option for you. The Seabird lobby is beautiful, expansive, and has a light and airy feeling. Very nice.
