Guatapé Apartamentos A&A Malecón

Great location, comfortable with lots of nearby restaurants and shopping. Had a parking garage and elevator. Had hot water that worked most of the time.

Even though we were on 5th floor you could hear all the street noise. Once town quieted down it was all good. Guessing that this was because one window lane has open louvers that you can’t close.

First of all, the location is hard to find. The website says it’s on the first floor,, it’s not. You have to climb up a few floors. Hotels.com gives me the option to pay at the property,, but doesn’t tell you that they only accept cash. Once I checked in,,, no shampoo, shower gel or soap,,, so I called, the guy gave me the excuse that they didn’t have time to replenish. So I had to go to the store and buy them myself. WiFi there was terribly slow, I had to use my data instead. The morning of my check out,,, there’s no hot water. This place is the worst stay of my 30-day trip in Colombia. Gautape is a beautiful place and worth a visit,,,, but don’t stay at this place!!

En general estuvo agradable, solo que la habitación absorbía los vapores del restaurante e incomodaba por momentos, adicional el hotel no cuenta con estacionamiento propio y debí buscar uno lo más cerca posible; no todas las habitaciones cuenta con ventanal y vista al embalse como fue el caso mío! Por lo demás a falta de aire acondicionado u/o ventilador, el lugar cuenta con instalaciones muy bien terminadas y cómodas, además la cocineta esta muy buen equipada para quienes deseen preparar sus propios alimentos. En general le doy un 9/10, le recomiendo al hotel atender la situación de los vapores del restaurante!

It gave a very homely vibe

The apartment is well-located and is in new condition. Argelis, the property manager, is very attentive. Our apartment was in the back of the building so we did not hear street noise. At this moment, the new elevator is not working, but it should be installed soon.
