Vineyard Harbor Motel - Private Beach

This hotel is well located and has its own private beach

The private beach on the bay is great place for children to play or adults to relax. Just a 7 minute walk from the ferry.

Vineyard Harbor Motel . What a wonderful place to celebrate my birthday with my international friends I booked 3 hotel in different cities and state 8 months in advance. Martha Vineyards was my first birthday stop. The staff was amazing! My penthouse room was clean and spacious and the views was stunning,! I could see the ferry when it arrived with passengers and when it was leaving. There were luxury cruise ship dock right next to the motel, out private beach right next to the motel walk from your room right into the water, felt so peaceful 🙏🏾 Everything was in walking distance, free bus ride to Oak Bluff, and learning the history of Inkwell beach. The gathering place for slaves gathered and swim , The ginger bread cottage, lots of history in Oak Bluff. Great restaurants and shopping, biking, walking trails, museum, and beautiful beaches, sail boats everywhere, just a beautiful place Martha Vineyards. I will return for another birthday milestone ❤️

We have just spent a lovely three nights at Vineyard Harbor Motel. Our room, 107, was lovely, right on the beach and decorated in a beach style. Beds were comfortable. Just needs a little care taken on the shower which has some blackened grouting. The Vineyard accommodation is very expensive and this is one of the few more affordable options. The little beach is a massive plus in my eyes. Sun loungers, umbrellas etc are all provided and I loved spending time there. Food options are nearby and it isn’t as busy in that area as Oak Bluffs. I would love to come again.

This did not meet our expectations. The bathroom has no ventilation system (such as a fan) and the ceiling tiles for the drop ceiling went into the bathroom and above the shower! And there was water leaking down from them into the shower 50% of the time which means there is definitely mold.

The staff were wonderful, helpful, and polite. The room was well appointed and clean. Really enjoyed the private beach!
