Holiday Motel and RV Park

We stopped in this little motel to sleep with our three little kids after a long drive. The staff was very personable and helpful. The room has lots of thoughtful touches. Perfect for a good nights sleep. Beds are very soft and comfy!

Was amazed by the price for this amazing motel. Rooms are exceptionally clean; hardwood floors and cement block walls mean all germs and pet dander are easily removed between guests and there are no opportunities for insects to even enter the room. Cement block walls also meant we never heard any of our neighbors or their pets. The room was far larger than many of the others we've stayed in. Beds were comfortable, staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The log-cabin frontier look was cute and had personality. It was absolutely lovely to stay in a small business instead of some huge corporate chain; the difference in service, decor, furnishings, and overall quality was night and day. Of all the places we stayed in our cross-country trip, this was by far the best. Motel is in a cute little town with an amazing scenic view with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. I loved everything about this place and cannot praise them enough. If you need a hotel in the Boise area, this is the place to stay!

The location is convenient and they’ve done some renovations but it’s filthy. There’s grime & dirt all over the bottom of the bathtub, and so much soap sum running down every tile of the shower walls it’s appalling. There were spots all over the bedspread which I didn’t want to touch. Due to our arrival at 1am, and no clerk available, we had no other options but to stay the 1st night. We had an event first thing in the morning but I called to cancel the second night as soon as I had a break @ 1:48pm (we had to clear out of the room since it was booked for next evening anyway and they would have to give us a different room). Due to the uncleanliness of the motel, we did not wish to do a repeat night here. The clerk refused to refund our second night and stated they have a 24hr policy. For clarity, I made the reservation Friday evening @ 4:42pm. $150/night (My cancelation of the second night is within 24hrs of making the reservation). When I made the reservation, I was told specifically I would be charged for the first night only and the clerk said nothing about a 24hr cancellation for the 2nd night, it’s definitely unacceptable to be charged by a motel who has unclean rooms and feel dismissed when I addressed my concerns. I understand paying for one night but it’s not fair to do this to people. Save yourself the hassle and book elsewhere. ☹️
