WoodSpring Suites Bakersfield Airport

I liked the location, security and cleanliness.The facility was very clean. I liked that you had to use your key to get into the facility as a single woman traveling alone.

I did not like the fact that there was no shuttle. Additionally, there were no cups or silverware but a kitchen! There were no dishes or pots or pans. There was some type of curtain that was half on the window. There were no supplies at the front counter or vending machine.

The price was very low. You get what you pay for, though. I would've rather upgraded, if that were an option. Staff was kind & helpful.

No breakfast. Bare bones room. Very inexpensive, but I would've gladly paid more for better facilities. The room was okay, but better attention to things that are handled by other guests needs to become routine for cleaning. I cleaned the light switches & remote which were dirty. The bathroom sink hadn't been properly cleaned. Hair from previous guests in it. Only 2 pillows which smashed down to practically nothing. Not enough towels! Glad I brought my own. We would rather pay more for a better room. We won't stay here again or with the same booking company.
