Hong Dao 2 Hotel

The room is cheap so you can't expect too much, the bed was comfortable enough and the AC worked. There was a small fridge in the room and a TV. We got a night bus to Can Tho and arrived at 3am and were still able to check in which was very helpful

The room was dusty and a bit grubby. The sheets had crispy yellow stains on so either they hadn't been washed or it is time to buy some new ones. The shower head in the bathroom is black with mould and points directly at the toilet. We booked for 3 nights and when we arrived back to the room on the 3rd night our key didn't work, when we went to the desk they asked if we had a reservation for that night as they had us down for 2 nights, I showed them the reservation on booking.com and they set the card up for another night. When we went to pay they tried to charge us 300,000VND more than the reservation price, again I got my booking up to show them the correct price and they said ok pay that price. These aren't massive issues as they resolved them quickly both times but clearly they just aren't looking at the information they have so if you stay just make sure you have your reservation available to confirm all details needed.
